New Format? Maybe?

I deleted the Facebook app off my phone last week. Mostly in an effort to avoid unwanted stimulation, but the thought of disconnecting from the metaverse was appealing too. Since then I've experienced mild withdrawl symptoms from not having FB. Nothing unbareable but enough to make me ponder the situation. I suppose part of the innitial draw of social media for me personally was to commentate my own personal experience. That morphed, as things often do into something else entirely. In my case it would be difficult to avoid accepting that the commentary morphed into a desire to be seen. I assume that's not uncommon, based on, if nothing else, the irrelevence of the ever-popular POV dinner plate post.

All that in mind I still desire to textually articulate my personal exisistence so that, as I started this blog by stating, I can read it back in 3rd person and view myself without personal bias. The purpose being to attain a more accurate starting point and goal for personal growth.

So, I'm considering blogging in the 'old fashioned' (it's already coming up on 20 years old I believe) journal format. At the surface level I doubt I have the constitution to keep it up, but I have been surprised at my hitherto unknown ability to keep up my new habit of walking a mile every morning. (In my second month now)

I'm starting to realize we have much more ability in self control and will than we are taught we have. We've become so weak mentally, but it is certainly not for lack of physiological ability.

That's all for now. This has probably been more cathartic for me than it is informative for you, but that's why I have this blog in the first place.

-Keep writing,

Seth
