 Irony. It's a funny thing.

Why is our religion so full of it?

Don't believe me, believe your bible... but read my booklets because you need help understanding.

Jesus Christ is the HEAD of the church, that's why you need to do what I say.

We are training for big jobs in the coming kingdom, but education in this world is of no value.

We are lights to the world, don't go out there you might get deceived.

We are the salt of the earth , but don't mix with the world

Love your neighbor as yourself, except those people who are not a part of our organization, they are heretics.

For God so loved the world... well mainly just His Church.

There is only one name under heaven by which men can be saved, but you have to be in the right church.

By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, that you have love one for another, but if you do not keep the sabbath and the holy days as WE say, you are NOT His disciple.

Ezekiel was prophesying about OUR time, 'but the prophecies are for many days from now, in the future'-Ezekiel 12 God, 'no'.

'there is no partiality with God' Romans 2:11, but we are a special people.

'go ye into the world and preach the good news unto every creature' - preaches doom and fear

He who seeks to save his life will lose it - preaches the need to be in the place of safety

God is a merciful God not willing that any should perish - preaches the 3rd resurrection

Life is about building character - but obedience to man is the only way

Gods government is perfect because God is in charge - practices man being in charge.

If someone else claims to talk for God don't believe them, God put ME in charge.

The bible is the unerring word of God in it's entirety - Uses varied translations to make points.

Christ is not divided - Splits churches based on doctrines

How to spot Religious Manipulation

Is Someone Trying to Control You? Manipulation and Gaslighting are common terms that describe a situation where one person is trying to gain control over another person. Though the most common use of these concepts is in the field of social relationships, the concepts are just as widely used in business, industry and extremely often in Religion. It is no secret that the Obedient, Docile and Believing nature of Religious people make them a target to the type of people that desire Power and Control. So you should occasionally ask yourself, “what of MY church?”. How to spot religious manipulation. Do the messages always differ slightly from the Bible? Are you made to feel guilty for not understanding why the messages differ from the Bible? Are you threatened or chastised for asking questions? SHORT POST: Faith

 I started thinking about faith again today while talking to a friend who is still, like a great many of my old friends, unknowingly deep in the muck of institutionalized religion. Earlier this week I was contact by another person who was concerned about my salvation in light of my not keeping the Levitical Holy Days. Together these two conversations really did a number to my mood. I'm 98th percentile Neurotic according to the 'big 5' personality test system, and these kinds of conversations really bring me down. In the majority of these types of conversations I find myself in a corner, not a corner with no answer to questions of faith mind you, but a corner with no chance of explaining myself.
