The Creation Week, The 7000 Year Plan, and The Temples.
What do the Temple, the Tabernacle of Moses, and the Creation Week have to do with the 7000 year plan? Don't know? I didn't either till I asked the question.
Something profound I've noticed in this chart. David expressed a desire to live in God's house,
Psalm 27:4
One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
While David did not actually build the Temple, he had everything prepared for Solomon, including the plans. You'll notice that what David wanted was to have what WE have. Also, WE were represented in that Temple. In the Holy Place of Solomon's Temple were the 7 lamp stands, the last one representing you and me today.
It's easy to take for granted the access we have to God, and even to Christ. All the sacrifices of the Old Testament never allowed the common people to have the access we have now.
